
There are several organized town watched in Mt. Airy. Below is a link to a map of existing town watches, and contact information for each one. If you live near one of these town watches, you might want to get in touch and help out.
If you wish to start a town watch, you can obtain training and resources from Operation Town Watch.
Operation Town Watch is an organization dedicated to the development and promotion of organized, law enforcement-affiliated crime and drug prevention programs.
Members include: Neighborhood, Crime, Community, Town and Block Watch Groups; law enforcement agencies; state and regional crime prevention associations; and a variety of businesses, civic groups and concerned individuals working to make their communities safer places in which to live and work.
The recruiting and training of Town Watch groups is combined with empowerment efforts and support to create what is called Town Watch Integrated Services (TWIS). For more information on Town Watch and Town Watch Integrated Services, visit Philadelphia Operation Town Watch.
