Geographic Information
This district covers 14 square miles;
with boundaries stretching from Northwestern Avenue and Germantown, on the
North, Germantown and Old Stenton Ave on Southeast side, Germantown and Queen
Lane on southwest side, Wissahickon Avenue on the west, and Cheltenham Avenue
and 15th Street on the east.

Community Relations
- Conducts all of the district meetings with local community groups,
including the Police District Advisory Council and Town Watch.
- Mediates, monitors and offers referrals to resolve chronic
neighborhood disputes, and on-going domestic disturbances.
- Actively runs district fund raisers for PAL, Thrill show,
Thanksgiving, and Christmas as well as organizes the children’s
Christmas party.
Victim’s Assistance
- Provides assistance through monetary reimbursement to crime victims
and citizens who come to their aid.
- Cash reimbursement is provided to cover loss of wages and/or out of
pocket injuries and/or psychological trauma victim/intervener.
- Mediates, monitors, and offers referrals to resolve chronic
neighborhood disputes/ongoing domestic disturbances.
Crime Prevention
- Prepares roll call complaints, bulletins and other documents
consistent with the goal of crime prevention.
- Mediates, monitors, and offers referrals to resolve chronic
neighborhood disputes and on-going domestic disturbances.
- Coordinates the activities of the district’s Youth Aid Panel
in conjunction with the office of the District Attorney, analyzes crime
occurrences and detect crime patterns.
- Prepares security evaluations for homes and business.
Drug Hotline
Calls to the Drug Hotline are anonymous. This phone does not have
caller ID or any other method of tracking. When utilizing this service,
please leave locations, names and/or descriptions of persons involved.
Please report the time of the drug activity and the type of drugs, if
known. This information can be given to the Narcotic Enforcement Team
Officer or left on an answering machine.
The 14th District holds a town watch meeting on the
third Monday of the month at 7 PM at the 14 th District
Headquarters.
